German language?
Can you please recommend some good beginner books in learning German language? I want those that comes with audio CD because only through listening to the correct pronunciation will one learn the correct way of speaking the foreign language. I have bought the 'Teach Yourself German', complete course but it's a bit difficult as it doesn't teach you how to pronounce German words.
Try Rosetta Stone. http://www.rosettastone.com/ There is also some online software (I think it's free) called Before You Know It (BYKI). I learned a bit of Chinese from them before a trip to China, and they have German also. http://www.byki.com/ Or--The Learnables: http://www.learnables.com/ This is an audio program that uses pictures of nouns and actions instead of words. It skips the step of saying: this word in German means this in English and instead focuses on what the action actually is in German.
How do i change language fromgerman to english on my yahooacount?
I cannot read the german language, so when i try to change language I am unable to do so.
If you mean Yahoo! Answers, then scroll downward and click on your English version (UK, USA, ...). Going to the home page of Yahoo!, it should also be in English then. ;-) Good luck!
If you speak english fluentlyis the german language easy tolearn?
I mean is the german language easier to learn that another language that is not simular to english as german is. For exampel italian. Thanks. Btw i know a second language is hard to learn so please don't state to obvious
From my experience with two years of German in high school, it is easier than English. The main reason is there is sense and logic to the structure which English lacks. English has way too many exceptions to the rule which German does NOT, moreso in spelling than in grammar, but still German has fewer exceptions. Your main difficulty will be vocabulary.
