The above person is right. These days nobody use the service of France Telecom anymore. They are expensive, not effective and their staffs are rude. It's true that there are many internet provider such as Neuf which offers you a good package of 29.90€ monthly payment for internet, satellite television and free call to French landlines and landlines over 51 countries, or Free with the same price and package but free international landline calls for 73 countries. But you are a foreigner and you may not stay long and don't want to join the internet. Then you can go to a Taxiphone shop which is a shop you find everywhere in Paris. There are many cubicles inside and you can make your call in peace . The price is very reasonable. Depends on which country you want to call, you can also buy international phone card which normally cost 7.50€ and you can talk for hundred of minutes. You can use this card to make calls from your landline phone at home. So it's handy if you don't feel like going out. |
