How much would you pay for aFlemish Giant?
I am selling one of my litters of Flemish Giants at the local fair for the first time, and I was wondering what I should charge for them and what people would be willing to pay. I was thinking some where around $35. Too high, too low, or just right?
Well, if they are nice quality and show good conformation. (I would do a guaranteed health check...but that's just me)...I would pay upwards of $50.00. If they are show quality, have excellent temperaments and have a free breeding, I'd pay upwards of $100.00. Now...if you could potty train the rabbits for indoor living (in a litter box) I know people who would pay $150.00 and up for one.
explain to me the differencebetween flemish and dutch?
they are so alike people say their relationship is like the difference between american and british english. most of the differences are in pronunciation, i know. but what i would like to know are some things that make them different languages. flemish uses some different phrases than dutch. could you tell me some? also, pronunciation differences, and what is probably easier for a person to learn. personally i think it might be flemish but i dont really know.
Dutch is spoken in the Netherlands (along with loads of dialects), and Flemish is spoken in Flanders, which is in Belgium. The difference between the two is that Flemish has got lots of French influences (vocabulary, accent), and the Flemish for example use the word ''gij/ge'' (you), whereas the Dutch just use ''jij/je''. They also use the formal form of you (u) a lot more, even when they're speaking to toddlers. They use loads of words that we don't use, but I can't really think of any. Flemish tv shows are always shown with subtitles on Dutch tv. However, this doesn't mean the Dutch can't understand the Flemish. We can, though sometimes there are a few unknown words. Standard Dutch is being taught in schools, so they can speak both Flemish and Dutch.
