sewing machine for christmas.
I make bunch of my own designs
and i tried resawing some old
clothes. when i graduate HS,
ia m planning to go to fashion
design school. right now,
though, i am just starting, so
i want to know if there is
anyone who is doing the same
thing)) also how do you sell
your designs on the web and is

Going to fashion design school will be a big help. Plus your sewing skills will make it so much easier for you. I went to an art school which it's now own by AI, they really work you on everything. I didn't stay with the major but the fashion show I attend with works from senior are amazing. I even help out at a fashion show at Saks Fifth Ave, it's a lot of fun. Show me the crazy side of the business :) It's a tough business to be in even in school, that's why I walk away, but if you love it, go for it. I have fun while I was there. I just can't sew for my life :) |

What fashion designer had a What fashion designer had a
show where their models were
zombies ? It's a well known
and expensive designer. All
the models were walking down
the catwalk looking dead. I
seen a video of it at the
Boston Museum I think .

What are the chances of I'm almost 17, and I'm home
schooled, so i take fashion
design at a local community
college. I already have
professional sewing skills,
and i can use professional
sewing equipment, like
sergers, ect.. and i was
wondering if this a plus since
i have started so much earlier
then the average wanna be
fashion designer?
Also, what does it take to be
a fashion designer? The
clothes I make are inspired by
the 60's pop art , the 80's,
and some vintage styles. I
like to make clothes that are
really fashionable but
wearable too, and i have made
some handbags. Is that good
enough or should i be more
creative?
And where can I buy wholesale
fabric and other sewing
notions like zippers, buttons,
thread, ect.
Any other info would be
wonderful!
