Which one was the mostcritical front in World WarII, European Theatre or thePacific Theatre?
In terms of defending America's national interests, which do you think was the most critical front in World War II, the European theatre or the Pacific theater? Why?
when the united states entered the war the big three churchill ,stalin and roosevelt agree in a european first campaign that means that europe was the allies main priority and that the pacific was their second priority because hitler was most involve in europe than in the pacific and only germany had the resources to attack the US,great britain and the soviet union.
World War II European theatrequestion. Were thereflamethrowers used in Europe?
Not in Africa by the British. Thank you. Thats all I needed to know.
Flame throwers were used extensively to help knockout pillboxes and other fortifications.
What are the three majorbattles from the EuropeanTheatre of World War II?
See, I'm a fourteen year old sitting in my U.S. History class trying to find this. The question is not specific and what my teacher told me to look up is exactly what I asked, so I'm not sure how to get any more specific.
Significant battles were (chronologically)- France 1940 Battle of Britain Barbarossa Kiev Seige of Leningrad Drive on Moscow Kharkhov Stalingrad Kursk Sicily Casino Anzio D-Day Operation Bagration Falaise Gap Arnhem/Market Garden Bulge Berlin As for which are the most significant - take your pick. I'd certainly include Stalingrad ond D-Day as two out of the three.
