What is the difference betweenetiology and pathology?
I have to write about the etiology and pathology of AIDS for a biology essay... in case you needed the words used in a sentence.
Etiology is the cause of something - in your case - using your example - what is the cause of AIDS. Pathology is the study and diagnosis of the disease - like the study of tissue, organs, cells, bodily fluids, etc.

Pharyngitis is the swelling and inflammation of the pharynx. The pharynx is the back of the throat, including the back of the tongue. Tonsillopharyngitis is the swelling of the pharynx and the tonsils. The tonsils are soft tissues that make up part of the throat's immune defenses.
