what is the evidence for and This is an area of controversy
in New Testament Studies. Some
Christian Scholars say yes,
some say no.
And yes, this IS a serious
question for a change, like
the Titans one.
I can't offer evidence, that's
why I'm asking people whether
they know of the arguments for
and against. All I know is
that some Christian scholars
are divided on this issue.
Just found an interesting link
from a conservative
perspective; quite convincing
so far.

The only evidence I need is the internal testimony of the books themselves, which testify they are the work of Paul. I think sometimes scholars become so smart they become stupid, abandoning the plain testimony of the record itself. Now it is possible their was an intermediary agent involved, but I believe the works themselve to come from Paul, under the unction of the Holy Spirit. |
