Hi i am some time confused by some English proper nouns. For example, suppose there is a data management project in a company. If I want to use an abbreviation for this project should I call it DMP - Data Management Project or should I call it DM (Data Management) project. Please help.

Wikipedia may help you with that, they have several translations for the specifics you're looking for, you probly could look them up japanese then do a comparison with the french equivalent.
