England...?
My friend Tom and I are
planning on moving to England
from America after college. We
already have a friend who
lives there who is a native.
We have no idea where we want
to move though. The friend
from England is wanting to
start a band, Tom is wanting
to work in a music studio, and
I want to become a
photographer. Where is a good
place to live in England where
we can get good income and a
nice place to live as well as
a great atmosphere?
Please explain why.

The bad news is, legally, you can't work there. Whoever hires you has to prove that there is no one in the European Union that they could hire to do the job they are hiring for you. It is very protectionistic. Sorry. |

How democratic did England Did england become democratic
in the way we know democracy
today as a result of the
glorious revolution, or is
there something that happened
later that helped england
become democratic in a more
modern sense?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G lorious_Revolution You might consider learning the various definitions of democracy. England is a Parliamentarian Democracy. It's not the same democracy that the United States falls under, but it is a democracy in the "modern sense." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D emocracy |
