The Words in Flesh already came to this earth, and it's been proven. 1. "And God spoke all these words, saying: 4. 'You shall not make for yourself a carved image-any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the water under the earth; 5. You shall not bow down to them nor serve them. Better question -- why do you, who challenges everything that the Christian canon says, accept without question its depiction of 1st century Jewish leadership? The Pharisees encouraged an educated, involved populace and insisted on keeping foreign impositions, like worshiping emperors as gods, out of Judaism. Now who would benefit from condemning that? Probably the same folks who realized that a successful revolt by the wee upstart province had the potential to destabilize the entire empire. It would only have been history repeating itself after all. |
