E-cards vs Paper cards?
Are e-cards just as appropriate as paper cards for birthdays and holidays? Would it be just as meaningful to you if you recieved only an e-card intead of a paper card? or should I send a paper card as well? I like the e-card myself. There are a lot of really entertaining ones out there and it is better for the enviroment. I'm interested in what other's views are on this. Thanks!!!
I'm with you on this one, Jenny.......paper comes from trees, remember people!!! Trees are the lungs of our planet.....without them, we wouldn't be here.....Plus, if you have 100 cards to mail currently the price would be $41.........That's pricy to send something via a very poor mail delivery system.....We had 300 Holiday cards to mail out this year.....you do the math.......from now on, it's e-cards...... e-cards and spyware?
Hiya! My girlfriend is over in the USA at the moment and unfortunately hating every minute of it! She won't get home til Dec 22 so i want to cheer her up with sending one of those e-cards for Thanksgiving. I'm told these cards have adware or spyware contained in them. Can someone direct me to a non-infectious website who do these e-cards for Thanksgiving you can send to someone's e-mail address? Any help will be v. appreciated and put the pair of us out of our misery!! Cheers!
Have a look at Yahoo Greetings, I've never had problems with cards sent/received from them. If you want to check other websites, download McAfee's Site Advisor - when you do a Google/Yahoo search, it tells you what sites are safe//unsafe. A real "must" for internet users (I use it all the time for guidance) http://www.siteadvisor.com/
