What would happen to the Bill Gates's fortune is, in a
sense, theoretical.. his
ownership in Microsoft exists
only in paper - potential...
If he were to actually trade
in his shares for money -
assuming SEC approval, what
would be the net effect on the
economy?

People tend to trade on hype in the stock market. If someone very powerful like Bill Gates were to suddenly sell off all of the shares that they hold, people would most definitely follow suit assuming that Bill Gates or people of the like are privy to information regular people may not have. For a good week or so the market may see a general decline but after people become knowledgeable as to why Bill Gates sold off all of his shares, the market may come back up. Unless there were a serious economic reason for Bill Gates to pull out, I doubt the market would stay down. Afterall, the market generally moves in an upward direction. |

Simple old west style fence I need simple(but detailed)
instructions on how to build a
ranch style pole gate across
the driveway entrance to my 5
acre piece of the rock on San
Juan Island, because in my
absense people have dumped
over 23 dead cars, appliances,
furniture, you name it! I hope
to connect a fence to this
gate eventually so I want it
tasteful and attractive, but
for now all I can afford is a
deterence to the dumping. Any
help will be greatly
appreciated but I'm interested
in ranch style, cedar post
style instructions.Thank-you
I have all the materials, but
my experience with woodworking
really demands pictorial or
very very detailed
instructions.

Get your measurements then look for a picture of a gate you like form your measurements and your picture you workout how much material you need .Take your list to a wood selling company that saw or cut to size but the right fittings that go with that like hinges and screws ect. Most important is to get a cordless screwdriver cos it wil make you life easy with all the screws you have to drive in. You will need a few more tools like a spiritlevel, a square , ect |
