dating services?
So I just became so bored that I filled out a yahoo personals. a little sad, I know. Anybody ever do any of those online dating services? what was your experience with it? I'm really just looking to meet new people.
I got a few looks and a couple of emails when I tried yahoo, but I never had anything happen between anyone I met and me.The big problem from most dating sites is they want you to pay to talk to people you might have an interest in.They get upset if you put an email address in your about me section. It just never worked for me.I probably needed to spend more time looking. It was the convenience of using the internet that drew me to it.But it turned into a waste of time.

How many scammers are outthere on dating services?
I can't tell you how tired I am getting email addresses claiming that their profile is "expiring soon". Then the next thing I know, I got the email with photo attached. How many scammers are out there in the dating services? What percentage? How do I know if I am talking with a girl scammer? Give me hints that I am REALLY talking with a real girl. Any advice that can help me identify scammers???
I don't know how many, but a lot. Many of the profiles posted in US cities when you follow up say they are in some other country and eventually they will ask you for money. I don't think that dating sites or dating sites or personals work. They go against human nature. A woman is designed to respond to a man approaching her, in real life, face to face, to hear his voice and look him in the eye. Getting a woman to stick her neck out and meet you based on a web profile or a newspaper ad is just against her nature. I think you need to go out and approach woman in real life. A woman who might never go out with you based on a personals ad, might be charmed by your personality in real life.

Yeah, I am tired of meeting scam artists online that I prefer to get shot down in person. The latest scammer, was exchanging messages with me for a few months, and then told me to send her $250.00 so she could call me. I didn't and I haven't heard from her. Things would have been different if she would have asked me to send her a calling card, but $250.00?
