What is the ventrolateralcounterpart of theretrosplenial cortex?
The retrosplenial cortex, a group of para-limbic areas in the posterior cingulate region, connect the parahippocampal cortex with the proisocortical visual cortex, and extends to meet the anterior cingulate cortex near Brodmann areas 24 and 33. If we are to look at a ventromedial counterpart, the most likely candidate is the cortex linking the temporal pole, the proisocortical auditory cortex, and one that extends to meet the anterior insula. What extent within these regions, namely the posterior insula, the retroinsular region, and surrounding areas, would correspond to the retrosplenial region?

Is the Cortex professionalhair straightener as good orbetter than the Kiyoseki hairstraightener?
I don't want to get a Cortex if the Kiyoseki does a better job. I want to get my moneys worth. I have tried a Kiyoseki so I do know they work well, but I haven't tried a Cortex.

Whats the difference betweenthe Cerebrum and the CerebralCortex?
What I have so far is that the cerebrum is the front of the brain but then if thats the case what exactly is the Cerbral Cortex? The cerebral cortex has white and grey matter but where is it physically located? My understanding is that it is located in the cerebrum too? That's where I'm confused.
The cerebrum is the upper layer of the brain. The cortex is its corrugated surface.
