Chicago>.........?
If you only had a few hours to spend in Chicago....what is the one place that you would try to see?? Is there ONE restaurant that stands out in your mind?
i go to chicago quite frequently and there are some very cool things to do there. i would recommend visiting one of the museums-the field museum of natural history or the science museum. the navy pier is also cool depending on whats going on. its actually fun just going downtown and walking michigan avenue. as far as food goes, i would recommend some good chicago pizza-pizzeria uno or lou malnati's are my favorites.
Chicago baseball player wantsto start running outside inthe winter is it a good ideain the winter?
I usually run in the gym for 1hour.Is going outside in Chicago winter a bad idea. How much time should i run for?
Personally, I live in Connecticut, and I've been going running a few times in this cold a few times. It's not a bad idea, and if you seem out of shape, you can run at a slow pace for medium distances, and build up speed\the distance you run. The first time you run out in the winter may feel a bit cold and it may be a little hard to breathe, but you'll get used to it. Initially, it helps because you get used to more regular outdoor temperatures and conditions, and since the ground isn't flat, it helps to build more strength. Don't forget to wear at least a sweatshirt so that you don't get too cold. Personally, I run with a long-sleeved shirt and a sweatshirt, running pants (long), and running shoes. You could run in shorts if you really wanted to. Mainly, you should start off with a run at a longer but slower pace, and you might want to adjust your speed to whatever feels comfortable.
