card game?
has anyone played or heard of a card game where your delt 3 cards and the object is to get 31 or closest then to knock.ever seen it on-line? thanks
I play knock high and low. HIGH=All cards are face value- 2 thru 10. all face cards count 10 and aces 1 or 11. If nobody knocks high (closest to 31) on first round then we can knock low ball closest to zero. cards 2 thru 10 face value. all face cards zero and ace being 1 in low knock. holding all 3 face cards gives you a 30 for going high or zero for low knock. You just have to go with the betting. Betting is limited to open and 3 raises like poker. (we also turn over 1 card at a time and bet) after knocking if two or more knock. If only one player knocks they win pot and don't have to show cards. We play no draw! Only the 3 cards dealt is your hand. No knock on High or Low- all cards tossed in-everybody ante's to the pot and 3 new cards are dealt-no reshuffle. We also call this GUTS poker. (same as knock) We play "TONK" with five cards. But don't ever play for money online! The old word to the wise.
What is the name of a cardgame which plays by matchingcolor/shape and has a woodenstick at centre?
Here is how this game is played. Each player first get a bunch of cards. Then in turn, play a card face up. Once two cards with same color or shape are matched. Players try to grab the wooden stick in the middle to get rid of their card. Whoever get rid of all their card first won the game. What is the name of this game? Looking forward to your answer. Thanks.
sorry, no idea
How do I find a game developerwho will look at a very goodcard game I invented with aview toward buying it?
Although this is about a card game, it is more of a business investment situation of a particular kind. And then again, it is not really about "investing" which implies anyone with money could do it. Also, I think this question does not fit into the category of Games & Recreation because it is not yet a game--it deals with how to take a game from the idea stage into production and delivery stages. Therefore it deals with how to carry out this business proposition. I want to know how to find a game developer who is able to consider buying a card game. The game has three versions: One is solitaire and two are two-handed. The game involves luck & skill with applying logic & the process of elimination. All versions are proven successful when played with real cards. And all versions should be easily adaptable to being computerized--and when that happens, it should be extremely popular. It is 99.999% guaranteed not to have been patented before because I invented it myself.
My family invented a few games years back, and always found a brick wall when we tried to find someone to take them over and market them. These were fully completed. I suspect that a game in the development stage, as you describe yours, will be even more difficult to sell. I'm not trying to discourage you, but here's the difficulty. You probably aren't going to get outside funding for your proposal at all. So, if you're convinced that this can become a reality, you'll need to find a way to fund it all yourself, or bring family and friends alongside you. Either way, it's a lot of risk to take, and will still be extremely difficult to market, because the big companies have most of the toy and game shelves locked up. If you're going to do it, you've got a big challenge ahead of you, and you'll need to spend considerable time on the business plan, just to evaluate if you can realistically make it profitable. There are lots of good ideas out there, but making one into reality is a whole additional challenge. Great inventions or great products or great games aren't enough. You've got to be a great businessman too. Best of luck to you.

Does anybody know the rules on a game called hand & foot?
You play with more than onew deck and you have two sets of hands. You start with one set and as you play those out you pick up the other set to continue.
