biology????
hey guys im stuck on these 2 biology questions i need some help really bad so if you can please help me. 10points and best answer. thanks so much(if its not to much to ask please explain as simple as possible it gets confusing if there is to much information) Explain why we are still piecing together a picture of how human evolution occurred, and how is it possible that our understanding of it might be flawed? What are three advantages of using scientific names for organisms?
1) Some of the fossils we would need to link humans to previous species are too old to carbon date. Also, we have only found fossils of some of the species involved in our evolution. Even if the DNA is similar, it is impossile to say whether that particular species evolved into humans today. 2) *Scientific names are universal, meaning everone calls a specific species by a specific name, prevents confusion. *Using scientific names, you can see the relationships between organsism, meaning if they are in the same genus, you know they are related. *I can't think of a third, sorry... there's gotta be tons of reasons
What's the difference betweenmarine biology and aquaticbiology?
I was looking through a college book for colleges that offer marine biology. I came to a college that offers both marine biology and aquatic biology. I always thought it was the same thing. Can you help me?
Aquatic biology is like marine biology in that you study the ecology and behavior of plants, animals, and microbes living water; however, instead of focusing on salt water, aquatic biology majors study freshwater inland lakes, ponds, rivers, creeks, and wetlands.
