How does the alphabet fit inwith the numeral Binarysystem?
I've figured out the Numeral Binary system but I cant seem to see where the alphabet comes in. I've seen that A-Z is 100 0001-101 1010 but then how can you have Binary 100 1011 (Decimal 75 and also the letter K)? How would you define if it was 75 or K? Thanks for any help ^_^
Any program that inputs binary data treats that data as numbers or characters depending upon the expectation of the program. Here are a couple of good reviews of the ASCII representation of characters and numbers. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A SCII http://web.uccs.edu/lbecker/SP SS/ascii&binary.htm
