Switzerland to Munich,
Germany. I would prefer the

Well, I checked the German Rail site and the regular price is about 87 euros, but it says they have specials for 39 euros, but you have to check for availability on the specific date and time you want. There are lots of trains and that's the best way to go. http://www.bahn.de/internation al/view/en/index.shtml There are buses, too, from Bern or Zurich to Munich, but you'd spend just as much getting from Basel to those cities, and they only travel a few days a week. I haven't had much luck lately on the bus website, but it's http://www.eurolines.com |

I don't like the glass ones, not simply because of the potential health hazard but because you have to remember to shake them down the previous night or you'll mess up your morning readings! Personally, I've been using a normal digital thermometer for 18 cycles and have had no problems seeing a distinct thermal shift. You can get digital basal ones too, which give you accuracy to a 100th of a degree, but if she's charting at fertilityfriend.com that won't help her anyway because they only measure in 10ths of a degree ... which is what the normal digital thermometer is already giving her. I reckon it's fine to just stick with that, but if you decide to change, don't switch mid-cycle or it could skew your results. |

How can I get from Paris to My friend and I (students, if
it makes a difference) are
traveling from Paris to Basel
on a student budget. We DO NOT
want a Eurail pass that costs
$300 bucks for 4 countries or
however many there are. We
just want a one way ticket
from Paris to Basel. We are
not European residents either,
in case you know of discounted
prices for Europeans.
Right now the cheapest we
found is about $100. The best
answer will go to however
finds the cheapest route.
Thanks!

If you book in advance through French rail, you should be able to get a discounted ticket. If you cannot find discounted tickets to Basel, buy such a ticket to Mulhouse and get a regular, non-discounted ticket for Mulhouse to Basel. The French name of Basel is Bale. Alternatives could be flying or taking the bus. See http://www.skyscanner.net , http://www.airfrance.com and http://www.eurolines.com |
