Grammar: article submissions My guess is "target the
customer" is correct rather
than "targets the customer"
but I can't figure out (or
remember) why..can anyone
explain..is it because
customer is singular? or would
it have to do whether its
article submission or article
submissions. "target" singular
sounds better - but is the
reasoning because customer is
singular?

"target the customer" is correct. He or she (singular) "targets" they (plural) "target" "Article submissions" is plural. Another example: Momosix (she) targets the customer. Momosix and Bella (we, they) target the customer. |

What is a article in grammar?
I need the description like a
for example, a noun would be a
name of a person, place or
thing, so what is an article?

a, an, and the "A" is an indefinite article used before nouns that begin with a consonant or a consonant sound. "An" is also an indefinite article used before nouns that begin with a vowel or a vowel sound (e.g. an hour because "hour" sounds just like "our" which starts with a vowel sound. "The" is a definite article. The difference between indefinite and definite articles is pretty much the same as what those words mean. For example, you would say a castle (meaning any castle), but the Palace of Versailles (the specific one) or a baseball team but the Dodgers. |

Hello, I am from Taiwan, I wrote an essay about Apple's products. Please help me in my article grammar. Apple's products always surprise people. It makes products using innovative and creative ideas such as computerized products like Mac Pro, Mac mini, iMac, and MacBook, each with different designs. Apple made the most interesting products in line with iPod and iPhone that just came out in 2007. No matter which type of product, it will surprise you with its performance. Mac Pro Mac Pro is different from other computers. It owns amazing efficiency and unequaled expansion. It uses two of quad-core intel xeon "harrpertown" processors, 8-care standard processing performance and the hard disk memory. Its PCI express graphic could be freely reequip in compliance with the client's demand. The hard disk has the highest expand to 4TB! And the memory could support up to 32GB. So top efficiency can only be called on "Pro". |
