I honestly have never been able to find good books out here that teach arabic... i get my books from my country, or i ask someone to send me books from there...books for grade-school students, and i've been working my way up. i don't know where you live, but if you're in the losangeles area and you're close to pasadena, they offer arabic classes. my friend who would speak it (but never get anything right lol) now knows how to read and write...she's kinda slow, but good. my grandpa taught me how to read and write about a year ago...took me about a lesson a week for abouuutt 5 months but i got it down. try going on amazon.com though...or google "arabic teaching books" |

try following these steps: 1. Open 'Control Panel' 2. Go to 'Regional and Language Options' 3. Press the 'Languages' tab (you can see it in the top of the window) 4. Press the 'Details' button 5. Press the 'Add' button 6. From the drop-down menu, select 'Arabic (any country)' 7. When you press 'OK', press the 'Language Bar...' button under Preferences. Make sure that 'Show the Language bar on the desktop' is checked on. 8. Now you can flip between the two languages from the language bar at the right end of the main windows taskbar 9. To display the Arabic letter keyboard, switch on Arabic then go to: Start --> All Programs --> Accessories --> Accessibility --> On-Screen Keyboard. You can type Arabic letters by pressing them on this keyboard. I hope this is clear and works for you. I used to follow the same procedure. |
