Anorexia Nervosa?
I've self-diagnosed myself with Anorexia Nervosa. Why? I skip breakfast and lunch, and then after school I try to prevent myself from getting home as long as I can so I won't be around food within my reach. When I have no choice, I go home and drink a 220 calorie drink that delays hunger for up to four hours. I then stay up in my room and do all that I can do prevent me from leaving to go into the kitchen. I think I'm fat, though I know I can't be with my pant size. (28x30 s don't fit without belts. I'm a guy for the record.) I don't want to start eating again because I feel different this way. I'm trying so desperately to not let my life be controlled by hunger and having the need to eat to go on. I just don't want to eat, but I'll gladly get nutrients somehow else. What can I do? I do at least 40 minutes of cardio EVERY DAY along with weight training every other...
ok. i used to eat like less that 1200 calories a day 2 years ago. and i felt horrible. then i started eating right cuz i saw a nutritionist. i was sooo malnourished even if i did drink ensure plus. but yea u need to eat. u dont want to die do you? you need to LIVE to EAT not EAT to LIVE.
What is Anorexia Nervosa andhow it can be cure withnatural methods?
Finding a natural remedy for a disease can be a very difficult thing. So I am looking for suggestions of natural remedies for this disease (Anorexia Nervosa). Thanks.
Anorexia nervosa is loss of appetite resulting from nervous anxiety. This nervous condition is self induced and more commonly found in the young women. Some of its symptoms are loss of appetite, activeness but very much less sleep. Other symptoms include weight loss, stop of menstruation and lack of sexual desire, etc. Some of the natural methods to treat it are as follows: 1. To start with the patient should fast on water and orange juice for 3-5 days. 2. Application of ice-bag over the stomach for half an hour before meals. 3. Use of sour grapes, etc. For more information try the link below http://www.naturaltreatmentsit e.com/anorexia-nervosa.html
What are the health risks oranorexia nervosa?
What are the health risks of anorexia nervosa? Is it possible to cause yourself to get diabetes from it?
Not diabetes, but here's a list copied word for word from another site (reference below). You don't need to worry about diabetes, but even as a teenage with anorexia heart attack is a real and serious threat to those suffering from anorexia. If you think you or someone you know has anorexia, please ask for help. * Irregular heartbeat and heart attack * Anemia, often related to lack of vitamin B12 * Low potassium, calcium, magnesium, and phosphate levels * Increased cholesterol * Hormonal changes (can lead to absence of menstrual periods, infertility, bone loss, and stunted growth) * Osteoporosis * Seizures and numbness in hands and feet * Disorganized thinking * Death (suicide is responsible for 50% of fatalities associated with anorexia)
