It depends on what state you live in, some states require an attorney for divorces. Inquire at your local library they should have information to help you, as well as templates to file your own. |

Where can I find free online |

Each county has their own website to look up these sort of records. But because of the number of them, all thats listed is the names and the dates of the divorces. If you want to read all the details of the case in question, just go to the courthouse where the divorce took place, pull the file and sit down and read it. They are public record and anyone can go in and read them. |

You have to go by the laws in your state even online. I suggest springing for the extra bucks just to make sure it's legal and you don't get your butt in a wringer. |

Are online divorce services I was researching how to get a
divorce in the state of New
Mexico, and in my search and
online service that draws up
the papers for you and then
you still have to pay the
court costs. Can I trust this?
Any experience with a
particular website you care to
share?
P.S- dont judge me for wanting
to get a divorce. its
completely against my morals
but staying in this marriage
means agreeing Im not worth
being treated right. And I
think I am.

It sounds like a document prep company and if so, all they can legally do is type what you provide. NO legal advice. You'd be better off finding either an attorney or a paralegal service to prepare paperwork for you - you of course are still responsible for everything in the documents - but where you can speak with them, and check them out in person, then if there's something that needs an attorney's intervention they often have negotiated reduced fees w/local attorneys to assume the case. |
