Online Nursing Schools?
I am not currently a nurse, I
am a stay at home mom with 4
children. I attended college
after highschool and my major
was in nursing. I would like
to get a nursing degree and do
it online, but I am confused
when i look at the online
schools programs. Are there
any online schools for people
who arent nurses and would
like to be?

You could do anything you put your mind too. If there is on-line nursing schools go for it!!. But I don't think there are because there is so much on hands work to becoming a nurse . Take time out to go to school, There are weekend classes. !! |

Does anyone know what the best I want the school with the
best programs and academics. I
am looking for a school that
has a high RN test pass rate.
I don't care about atheletics
tution or anything like that
just the best academic
program. I appreciate any
links or help on this subject.

Any ideas for online nursing Anyone know of any online
nursing schools for LPN or
RN.. either bachelors or
associates or just RN or LPN
certifications. Its been a
hell of a time trying to find
a school to get into... Alot
of the nursing schools of
waiting lists of about 2
years. Please help !!!

I was just at the National Student Nurses Association convention in Baltimore and remembered a school that was advertising an online Bachelor's program...so I dug thru all my flyers and found it. The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center College of Nursing offers part-time or full-time classes conducted online. Their website is www.nursing.ouhsc.edu. I know there were more schools than just this one that offer these online courses. If you haven't already, go to www.discovernursing.com and do a search for nursing programs. Including online programs is an option in their search criteria. I hope that helps! Also, take all your prerequisites at your local community college if you are able. It is so much cheaper and will allow you more time to research the different schools. Good luck! |

Help with nursing School We are trying to return to
school. A friend told us there
is a grant you can get that
will pay for you to complete a
nursing school course that you
don't have to repay. We live
in Georgia and need something
available there. Also has
anyone had any experience with
online school?

Check your local unemployment office for GA consordium. They help with books, gas, uniforms, etc. You don't pay back but must qualify. I'm going back for my RN also. Hit me back with any info you get. I also live in GA. |

I need to find an online LVN / I used to be a paramedic -
expired years ago so medical
experience is my strong suit.
I can get into Excelsior to
get my R.N. if I have my LVN /
LPN.

You will not find one. Because of the clinical element of those programs, they cannot be offered online...even if you have EMPT-P experience. |
