What is the best cheap device I'm looking for something sort
of like an ipod touch, but I
don't need the music player (I
already have a 30GB video
ipod), or the video player.
I'm just looking for something
that will let me get online
and check email at wifi
hotspots (like Starbucks).

there is no such thing that I know of. I do have a little receiver device I bought at Wal-mart that let's me find wi-fi hotspots without using a computer. They cost about $30 |

How often do you check email It seems like when I'm bored
or have a day where there
isn't much going on I check
email and myspace about once
every 45 minutes...even if I'm
not really expecting anything.
I sort of annoy myself with it
actually. Does this seem
excessive? How often do you
check it?

I check mine 24-7! Haha. OK maybe not really, but I either stay on myspace for hours, or am constantly checking it. Its a serious addiction- i swear. Uhm- i g2g- i have a myspace to check!!!! haha. |

no that's not too much. I have my internet always connected tho so it pops up when I get a new one. But I check my myspace like...a lot....and thats about the same. two or three times is not too much in my opinion |

What is a good cell Phone that I wanted to get a Blackberry
for checking email and
searching the web but I don't
use it as much as a corporate
person would. Also the
Blackberry packages that
Verizon offers is just too
much money considering my
needs. I still want something
that has good calender
functions as well as alarm
settings, etc. Any help is
greatly appreciated!

since you have verizon and you can't get the iphone I don't know why people even put that. I also have verizon and have the blackberry curve! If you want something like it but with a cheaper plan I would go with the motorola q. It is a lot like the blackberry but is geared more toward personal use instead of professional use. |
