Questions/Answers
Is it easier to obtain acollege degree online than thetraditional way of attendingcollege?
Easier for whom? That's the only thing that matters. I've not only found it to be easier, but far less expensive, and I like the idea that I can get into my studies the way that I, ME, like to get into my studies. I've hinted that we've decided to pay for these studies. Wasting my time is one thing, paying my bills is another. Seriously! If it's easy, it's because you make it easy. You've decided that you like doing it because you want to do it. So, if you're trying to learn anything in particular, what does it matter where your teacher lives?
Has anyone received a collegedegree online?
I want to complete my bachelors in Criminal Justice online. Does anyone recommend a program that they have done or are doing? Also, if you can explain how student loans work. I know I won't qualify for financial aid and my parents were paying for my community college. I want a loan. No advertising for answers!!!! Why would governments not recognize the degrees?
on line degree are not recogonised by many gvernments. so if you are not intrested in govt jobs you can do it.
Will a place of employmentconsider me any different if Ihave an online college degree?
Like less of a chance of getting the job and do people consider it "real" schooling if its online?
There is a lot of debate about this. It also depends on the school. A school that is known to be online, like University of Pheonix, will probably not get you very far. My credits from Excelsior college do not transfer everywhere. An online degree is better than no degree. It shows you can persevere. Most employers I know would prefer an on-campus bachelors degree, but would be fine with an on-line masters degree. A degree from a known college like UC Berkeley will be good whether online or not. Some colleges don't even say that the degree was earned through distance learning. But always make sure the school is accredited!
mom wants to earn an onlinecollege degree?
my mom decided to go to college again but this time online.her major is in business and marketing. what do you think she should do?
Those are very good degrees and she will get hired anywhere if she goes to a decent college. Just research the colleges so she doesn't end up going to some flakey diploma mill.
What are 20 online collegedegree/education questionsthat you can come up with.?
I am writing a report and I need to answer at least 20 questions that people frequently ask about online college stuff. So what I am asking is for you to write down questions that you may want to know or people always ask about.
The main question seems to be "Is the school accredited?" Some others are: "Will employers accept my online degree for a job after I complete the program?" "What are the various types of degrees/programs offered?" "What are the admissions requirements: standardized test scores, minimum GPA, etc?" "Is financing available?" Not 20 questions, but those are the ones I hear asked the most.
