How to reduce data transfer Hi. My sis lives in the US and
we from india talk to her
daily using skype. Since the
broadband provider charges us
in terms of the upload and
download size per month, i
would like to know whether
there's any software that
would lessen the data transfer
rate during such voice chats.

Gan; Voice isn't compressible, but you could try a different strategy; rather than having several live sessions, have a series of recorded message exchanges, and then a summit (2X/month) of live chat. See if this will help you in any way: JDVoiceMail is an easy to use application that lets you record and send voice mail messages, using your default email program (Outlook, Outlook Express etc.). It creates compressed .wav files using DSP True Speech, GSM 6.10 or LAME codecs, and can achieve file sizes of about 30kb (using a 30 second message as an example). How do I use user created I have recently started using
Yahoo again. In the past I

and make new chat rooms. Now I
can not do this at all. Do I

shur tell me about it, u r made to feel like shit and a nuisance, u just wanna find out how to get over this stress and panicky anxiety thing and once u begin talking about whats on yo mind its like aaaaw, poor girl, i cant handle dat pity crap, its not my character to feel down about myself i just wanna speak my mind a lot, not have people wondering am i ok, theres not a lot of people u can tell about this stuff cos they'll get the idea u mite be ill r crazy r down in the dumps, so i just keep my mouth shut and speak out when i need to get stuff off my chest. |
