Tax return needed for Credit I'm currently in the middle of
applying for a credit card
though i'm currently earning
above average wage for my age
and the credit card company
has asked me to send in last
years tax return to show proof
though i only got this job
this year. I've attached on
the application my payslip
with the tax return though is
this okay?

it will show on your credit report, dont do it it could impact your score as it will show new account, and if u run up charges it will hurt the score, wait till after you get the mortgage |

Chase Online Credit Card Received pre-approved offer in
mail for Chase Visa Platinum
credit card, applied online
using offer code and received
email response after
submitted:
"We will notify you of your
approval status in 30 days by
U.S. Mail...etc."
Does anyone have any
experience with this kind of
response and what it could
mean? Good sign, are they
actually considering the
application or is it a bad
sign for getting approved? Are
online credit card normally
applications immediately
approved or not?
I only have 2 cards, not high
limits and good credit score.

I had a similar experience with Washington Mutual. They said that a credit card application could be approved in as little as 30 seconds. However, when I applied they told me that a decision would be sent in the mail. I thought it meant I was declined, but about 2 weeks later I received my card in the mail. Also remember that if you are declined you have the right to receive a free copy of your credit report. They will instruct you on how to obtain this in the letter they send you. |

you typically have to have exp. and find a company who offers work at home processors no one does that much anymore |

Why has the credit card My partner has applied for 2
credit cards (Egg and
Barclaycard) and has been
declined for both of them. He
has never had a credit card
before but has had several
loans and a mortgage which he
has never missed a payment on.
Will the fact that he's never
had a credit card have been
held against him? Now if he
applies for another card, he
has to tick the box that asks
if he's been declined for a
credit card before and that
will work against him even
more. He's 26 if that makes
any difference.

My advice is for him to get a credit report asap (try experian or equifax). It may be that there is some bad debt outstanding in his name that he is unaware of, or that someone else has been using his details..... |
