Early 2008 is the official set time. I don't know when exactly that will be, but that what Lexus representatives are saying. I would guess around the end of January to the beginning of February. |

Are Toyota Land Cruisers hand made?
My Toyota dealer indicated
Land Cruisers were hand made
to explain their long
reputation for being reliable
and "bulletproof".

hold on, the "dealer" told you this? im guessing it was a salesman. the older ones require alot of "hands on" for modifications but this doesnt mean "hand made". i checked out the new FJ and it seemed like a great truck. it might have a few parts that are hand made or have a real person check for quality or fit. there is no way a real person bolts and welds everything together on that vehicle though. |

I live and work full time in
Japan. I will never return to
the UK. I live with my in
laws, a good situation no
stress, but we would like our
own house which are no cheaper
than anywhere else in the
world. My wife recently told
me I can buy a new Toyota
Landcruiser which will cost
$50000 plus! and will take 5
years to pay for. My heart
tells me Land cruiser, my
dream car, but my brain tells
me House! What would you do?

There is a chance that the house will become an asset where as the car wont. Also your wife loves you so she is offering you what you 'want' but if you decline it and get what you 'need' as a 'family man' how much more will she love you? A woman's love is worth more than the house and the car combined. |

how hard is it to put a chev 350 engine into a toyota land cruiser, and will i need conversion parts?
I've swapped one engine
before, and now i am buying a
1990 surburban and taking the
engine out, and installing it
into a 1969 toyota land
cruiser. does anyone have any
sugestions... besides quit
while you still have money in
your pocket.

How do I change a central locking switch on a Toyota Land Cruiser?
1997 Toyota Prado Land cruiser
has a bad door lock switch.

A bad door lock switch or actuator is pretty extensive.May be more than you want to tackle.Removal of : door panel,any crush plates,lower window frame,and lock assy in order to replace is nec.Unless mechanically inclined you may want a technician to do it. |
