When did the stereotype ofMexican food giving diarrheastart? ?
What is the origin of this stereotype? How true is it?
I think it comes from the fact that some Mexican food can be very spicy. Depending upon the individual, spicy foods can cause stomach upsets which in turn can cause diarrhea. Some people, like me, can pretty much eat whatever without any problems. However, some people just can't take a lot of spice.
What are the stereotypepersonalites of US cities?
Like NYC is Loud mouth, rude and so on. People from cities in Alabama are Hillbillies, and live in trailer parks. Like Stuff that is stereotype. Doesn't mean to say everyone from that city is like that. But could somebody please answer what STL is? what i meant by what STL is, is what's their peronality.
STL is St. Louis Missouri. I'm from Minnesota and there is a saying "Minnesota nice" That's because people are suppose to be really nice. I don't know what else other Americans really think of us. They really talk about our accents mostly. And they all think its like SUPER cold here all the time. I mean it is in the winter. I guess it can get to like -30 Fahrenheit in the winter, but were use to it. People from Wisconsin are stereotyped as "cheese heads" because they make a lot of cheese there. I guess one stereotype about Wisconsin that i have heard is that the people who end up living permanently are farmers. They don't really go to school because they don't need education to do farming. But I'm not saying that's what i believe, that is just a common stereotype i have heard. People from California are all suppose to be health freaks, tan a lot, get a lot of plastic surgery. People obsessed with vanity really. That's all i can think of right now.
What is the stereotype of aDungeons and Dragons cleric?
I'm fairly new to D&D 3.5 (I've been playing for 4 years). A friend is recruiting for his new campaign, and I agreed to play a cleric, who will most likely be lawful neutral. How do I avoid turning my character into a stereotype?
Well, strickly speaking. I have played many stereo typical clerics with the NG alignment. I would suggest you find a deity with that type of alignment and read about them. Find someone that you like in temperment and beliefs. There are no rules about specialization that you HAVE to follow. if you wish to specialize...then do it, or don't. I would recommend you develope a personality you don't mind playing. It will help you enjoy playing the character. Talk with the DM, he might even help you develope a specialization that isn't in the book. Something that you could get into. Remember, the rule books are guidelines...they are not absolute.
