What is the best software touse to record my music?
Right now I'm using Audacity, only because it is free and its doing ok. But I need a really good recording software for my music because Audacity is pretty limited in what I need to do with the tracks I'm laying down. I'm open to free software or buying software.

Is there any software that canturn my computer into aregular radio receiver?
I am an avid radio listener and would like to know if there is any software that can make my computer a radio that can receive shortwave, AM and or FM stations from my area. Or has this even been invented yet? I would prefer if this software was inexpensive or free. Thanks for the help!
Well, you are going to need some hardware to accomplish what you want to do. In the past there have been some manufacturers of AM-FM PC cards that fit into a slot in your PC and come bundled with the software to run it. You may be able to search the Internet and find one for sale, I was unable to find any when I looked although I know they are out there. I have never heard of one made for SW although I have been out of the SW game for a while. Another solution is that many radio stations simulcast their program over the Internet. Contact the stations and ask them if they have a web site and if they broadcast their program over the Internet. If you are really an avid listener then why not buy a good AM-FM radio? General Electric makes one that is inexpensive and really pulls in the stations. It's called the GE 7-2887 Superadio III Portable AM/FM Radio and sells for around $50.00 on the net. Another option is to check out C. Crane company http://www.ccrane.com/ which sells a variety of DX AM/FM/SW radios that excel in receiving weak signals and they sell a variety of antennas and accessories to aid in reception. Of course you could do what I did and that is to switch to Satellite Radio. XM or Sirius offer a wide (150+ channels) variety of stations to listen to.
What is good software toprotect against the new virusthat records your keystrokes?
What is good software to protect against the new virus that records your keystrokes? Thus it gets your credit card info and passwords... I forget the name of the virus. What software do you recommend?
There are many programs that do that, not just one virus. technically, it's not even called a virus, it's a keylogger. To get keyloggers off your system, use regular antivirus scans: http://www.free-av.com/ (good and free) and spyware scans: http://www.safer-networking.or g/index2.h... and http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ But that alone is not enough. Imagine you unknowingly get a keylogger on your system on friday. You do some online banking etc. Then on saturday you find and remove the keylogger with those programs above. It's too late, the passwords have been recorded and sent back to the person who put the keylogger on your pc. To protect yourself from that scenario, use this program http://www.qfxsoftware.com/ Make sure to download the personal version, it is free. What it does is this: it encrypts all your keystrokes at kernel level, so even if there is a keylogger on your system, it will not be able to find out what you've typed. The logs will only contain mumbo-jumbo. I've tested it myself with a few different keyloggers and it works perfectly! That will protect you until you finally remove the keylogger with the programs I mentioned at the start.
