How do I get my rabbits to usetheir litter tray?
I have two 10 week old dwarf rabbits- 1boy, 1 girl(They're getting desexed) and they live in an indoor hutch which has a corner little tray with wood shavings in, they hardly use it so how can I make them use it? Do not say change the litter to kitty litter as i will not as that is apparently bad for rabbits.

How do you know where to cut arabbits nails up to?
I own a couple of rabbits and have special rabbit nail clippers and i know you cannot cut past the blood supply in their nails but one of my rabbits has black nails and i cannot see where the blood vessel starts. Do you have any ideas?
It is easier with some-one to help you as you must restrain your rabbit. Hold the rabbit upside down with its head downhill as you cradle it in your arms as you would a baby. Gently stroke the rabbit's head and it will usually relax. If you hold a light on the opposite side of the nail you will often be able to see the vein through the nail and cut just enough for the vein to be left intact. If you cannot see the vein, just cut a little from the end and do it more often rather than cut too much
Why is the colour of myrabbits fur changing from greyto ginger?
I have two rabbits, they are half and half - netherland dwarf and lop eared, but havent got the lop eared traits. I am wondering why the grey rabbit's fur is changin ginger colour around the neck area, its odd and i am curious.
They may be going through a molt. When this happens, they will lose their old coat and get a new one. Alot of times the color will appear to change.
Rabbits-Do you know how long amyxomatosis vaccination lastsfor?
How old do rabbits need to be before they can have the vaccination? What time of year do they need to be vaccinated? Does the injection work effectively? I lost 24 rabbits last year to myxi and dont want the same to happen again.
The vaccination lasts 6 months and it used to be recommended that you vaccinate in the spring to cover the riskiest time during the summer but warmer winters and an increase in the disease means that it is now recommended that you vaccinate every 6 months throughout the year. It can be given from 6 weeks of age. The vaccine is not 100% effective but is much better than nothing and it cannot cause the disease as it does not use myxomatosis virus but a close relative. Myxomatosis is spread by a vector - either fleas or mosquitoes and so good flea control can also help. See the link below for a money saving offer:
Will 2 male rabbits from thesame litter live happilytogether as they grow up?
We are considering adopting 2 baby male rabbits from the same litter. However we are concerned that as they grow older they may fight with each other. Is this likely? Thanks in advance for answers!
Once they reach sexual maturity they will begin to fight to see who is dominant. They can hurt each other badly even to the death. Two females from the same litter can be kept together successfully but two males is not a good combination. If you are going to get both of them they will need their own cages/hutches. Better safe than sorry
