What is the best poker sitefor low limit players?
I've got titan poker and party poker but everybody seems to be insanely tight, even down to the micro-limit tables like $0.05/$0.10. which poker sites start at higher levels and so are more loose in the lower tables. because in these two, the big blind wins about half the pots just by nobody calling.
Go to Poker Stars they have plenty of people who will play 10-2 suited at any time during a low game, they reason is that if Doyle won 2 ME with that hand it is good for a dime.
Where is the best place tofind information on onlinepoker?
I am just starting to play. I am looking for poker books, free bonuses for signing up, poker tips and anything that may be of interest to playing poker.
I have been playing online poker since 2001. I have spent a lot of time looking for information about online poker. My favourite site so far (see below) has a lot of tips about playing online poker. They have several articles I would recommend reading relating to online poker tells. They have a bonus code page for new players to get free cash. You just have to use the bonus codes they display (these are from the poker rooms themselves). Take a look at the free entry into the million dollar tournament. This is a must. I hope this helps.
How would you rate the pokerplay during the day onweekdays in casinos?
Its raining and im bored, and im in the mood for some poker. ive never played during a weekday, what type of players typically play from about 12-5 on weekdays? good/bad? im thinking maybe a lot of retired people? or is it all weird addicts with no jobs?
It all depends on where you play, they can rate on any day or time from very good, to very bad. The time of the day does not matter, but for the most-part it is a lot of tourist and a few locals who play. I deal poker and i see no difference in the people who come out. The only thing is that there might not be as many people on a weekday in the early hours of the day, but the kind of people who play is the same.
What exactly is a professionalpoker player?
I was talking with a new co-worker and she told me that her boyfriend is a professional poker player. I've never heard that before. Everyone that I know who plays poker does it once a week or once a month for fun. I asked her if he plays every day and she said yes. He's 21 years old. I asked if he pays taxes on his winnings like employees do on wages and she said, "well, waitresses don't claim all their tips." Can anyone give me an overview of a career as a professional poker player since I'm clueless? How do they find work? How much do they make? What are the possitives & negatives of such a career? Is it something someone can do their whole life?
Hi, I play poker for a living, online and live, and it's a tough job, but I love it. Yes a poker player pay taxes, we find work online 24/7, in casinos 24/7, you must be able to manage your bankroll correctly. Play poker take a lot from you, hours and sometimes travel, if you're single ok, but I'm married and very lucky to have a wife who stand by my side and support my choice 100%. Many players refuse to accept that poker is a difficult and complex game and it requires a lot from them! You must do the hard work needed to win! You can contact me on my site if you need specifics answers. Take care
What is a good brand of pokerplaying cards?
Hey I'm 17 and am looking for a cheap holiday present for my bro who is in college right now. I know he loves poker, and he has a great set of chips, but his cards always get bent and frayed. I know this bothers him, so he would appreciate a good pack of cards. I've heard that really good cards are like plastic coated or something and are highly resistant to damage and bending and stuff. Anyone have any suggestions of where I could find such an item? Thanks!
Bicycle makes a plastic (not just plastic coated) playing card that should last. You can buy them in nearly any drug or discount store for about $5 a deck.
