How can I type correct SpanishLanguage with all itsorthography in my computer?
In typing Spanish language correctly you must use accents and other orthographic signs which I do not have in my English language computer. If not properly typed it's offensive for those your writing is directed to.
its easy ... go to control panel > regional and languages > and set ur pc at spanish language .. and if the letters u type in ur keboard ...not match with ur keyboard ...get keyboard of spanish ... or have the stickers of the spanish letters ..and put it over the keys u have .... good luck
Why do some languages havemixed case orthography, whileothers do not?
Where did the idea of majuscules and miniscules come from? Germans get crazy with capital letters while the Chinese have no use for them. I find them useful, but I guess being fluent in English makes me biased. Yes, I KNOW that Chinese is pictographic, but why, for instance isn't there a bigger or different character for
because languages like chinese and japanese are based on pictures that were changed into words. i am fluent in english, but i think the whole "capitalization" of any words is utterly stupid. its like saying that the word "china" becomes more important when its capitalized. personally i think all words are equal and they should all be the same, but what do i know? im only 15 XD
Can someone who speaksAndalusian Spanish help metranscribe into the newAndalusian orthography?
I have heard there is a proposed Andalusian orthography showing the distinctive pronunciation of Andalusian Spanish.
Here are two websites in the new andalú spelling: http://www.angelfire.com/darks ide/franco/AABA.html http://www.andalucia.cc/adarve /Propuehta.htm (the latter one actually presents three different proposals for an Andalusian orthography)
What is English orthographyand IPA forms? I need to writez and s in these 2 forms?Linguistics help?
What are they.. That's all I need to know. Thanks!
"English Orthography" means how you write it in English spelling. The "s" sound, for example can be written in English as "s" (see) or "c" (peace). The "z" sound can be written as "z" (zoo) or "s" (reason). Note that the English letters "s" and "z" also have various pronunciations. The "zs" sound, for example, can be written as either "z" (azure) or "s" (pleasure). Also, the "sh" sound is sometimes written as "s" (passion). IPA forms are the International Phonetic Alphabet symbols used to represent the pronunciation of words in various languages. The "s" sound would be [s] in IPA and the "z" sound would be [z] in IPA. The example words above would be: see - [si:] peace - [pi:s] zoo - [zu:] reason - [ri:zʌn] azure - [ʌʒʊr] pleasure - [plɛʒʊr] passion - [pæʃʌn] You can learn more about the IPA and the English sound system from these articles. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I nternational_Phonetic_Alphabet http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I nternational_Phonetic_Alphabet _for_English http://www.omniglot.com/writin g/ipa.htm
