What are some good colleges I am planning to be a music
producer. I want to know some
good colleges in Ohio that are
known for music. Not just
classes that have to do with
music, but classes that have
to do with actually music
producing. Like George Martin
of the Beatles. Please give as
much info as possible on
colleges in or near Ohio for
music porduction. That would

How do I get music on to my I just got a Motorola Razor 2
and I got a lexar Micro SD
memory card. I have gotten the
music on the card and have
tried to get the music onto
the phone, faulted. I am now
wanting to know who to
sucessfully load the music on
the card, and get the phone to
read/play the music.

How do you learn music theory?
What I am looking for is a
textbook to learn music theory
but doesn't assume you don't
know how to read music. I can
read music but just want more
information about chord
structures and more advanced
items than learning how to
read music. Any ideas of a
good textbook?

Well it's hard to say where you're at from what you describe. You say you can read, but not how well. Therefore, let me suggest Practical Beginning Theory, by Bruce Benward. I use it to teach students myself. What is the average salary for I currently hold a bachelor of
science in Biology, but I have
a lifelong background in
music, specifically vocal
music. I've been researching
master's programs, trying to
figure out what the right
program is for me to go into.
It would be wonderful to
combine my interest in music
with my background in science.
So, now I'm interested in
Music Therapy. What is the
average salary that a music
therapist makes a year?

I have looked up music therapist on a website that my school uses to help kids see what type of career they would like to do and music therapist isn't in it. Instead i found Music teacher/instructor and they make $25,000 - $50,000 with benefits. Don't know if that helped but it was worth a chance. |

What music do I need to play I want to learn to play
soprano sax but all my music
books are for alto or don't
say which sax they are for.
Will they work when I am
playing alone or do I need
music written for tenor? I am
not knowledgable enough to
transpose.

As long as you are playing with no other pitched instruments, any saxophone book will work fine. The issue will only come in to play if you are working with a piano or otherwise pitched instruments. |
