How does the quality of movies I'm thinking of buying a
Panasonic Lumix 6MP camera. Is
the movie mode with sound on a
digital camera any good? How
does it compare with the
movies shot on a digital
camcorder? Picture quality and
sound? I ask this because I'm
going on a long trip and it
would be nice if I only have
to take one thing with me
instead of two.
BigCol65: Thanks for your
answer. I've looked up the
Fuji camera you described and
it looks quite large (SLR).
Ideally, I'd like a compact
camera which I can fit in my
pocket.

What are good movies/tv shows I'm looking for monologues and
scenes from movies and tv
shows but I'm having problems
finding them. Can anyone think
of good things I could use?
I've already looked at Malcolm
in the Middle but besides
that, I'm kinda stuck. Ideas?
Thanks!

I'm not exactly sure...If no one else on Yahoo Answers knows, check www.apple.com and see if they have a list of specifications and requirements for the nano. :) Good luck! |

What movies would you I recently watched bits and
pieces of Pleasantville-I
flipped past it after watching
about 30 seconds of it
thinking that it was another
40-50's movie depicting the
world as a utopia. However I
soon realized that this was
exactly what the movie was
speaking against, the main
message being that we need to
open up to new ideas and give
up our conservative ways. I
really liked the color
differences that showed a
character attaining multicolor
when he or she opened up to
the world.
What movies have strong
messages that are similar to
this?

Jewel In The Palace (Daejanggeum) is a drama series - not a movie - but it does wonders with its philosophical messages! It says everything from how "we need to open up to new ideas and give up our conservative ways" to how the world is far from being a utopia but hate and fear can be conquered by empathy and forgiveness, to how everything that happens is an opportunity for us to grow even if it seems to be in our way. The overriding message is the power of love - for the ones closest to us, for the world and all its people, for the things we do, for the people we once did not understand. However controversial we know our decisions will be, whatever we have to go through...it is never wrong to make our decisions based on love. Jewel In The Palace makes an interesting cultural experience too- it's set in 14th century Korea. That, on top of a wonderful plotline and brilliant characterisation greatly sensitive to the human experience. You will find yourself crying buckets and laughing till your sides hurt. Believe me it's well worth a watch! |
