Go to the hardware store or home center and buy (after planning) about 5' of 1/2" water pipe already threaded, a 2x2' piece of plywood, a 1/2" pipe flange (disk with 4 screw holes and threaded big hole for pipe), 4 screws if you need them, a 4 way connector, 3 9" pieces of pipe. Screw the flange to the middle of the plywood. Thread the 5' pipe into the flange so it is upright, thread the three short pieces of pipe into the connector and thread it onto 5' piece. Now you have a leg, a spine, shoulders and a neck. If you do nothing more, you can make a foam or paper mache head to put on the neck and drape the form with clothing which you have stuffed with newspaper or other stuffing, using gloves for hands and shoes or boots for feet. If you want to be more complicated, you can add pipe elbow to the ends of the shoulder pieces and connect arms which can bend at the elbows with elbows and street els used together. Even further, you can add a T or 4 way connector between a 3' and a 2' piece to replace the 5' so you can add hips and another leg. |

Could a person with these Realistically, could a person
who is (nearly) 5'2" and 105
pounds be a teen model? My
measurements are 34.5-24-34,
about average for a model. The
thing is, I come up about half
a foot short.
I have recently received an
offer to become a teen model
(from a valid company), and I
wonder if it's even worth
pursuing it when I'm so petite
and rather busty, a
combination not usually seen
in models nowadays, where
models are as tall and thin as
possible.
I was mainly asking about the
height. Thanks.

At your height, about the only modeling you could do would be glamour modeling - but you usually need to be at least 18. You are too petite for even commercial modeling. |

Hello, Look, a role model is something very personal. It depends on your hobbies and the things that interest you. I can tell you what is my role model and perhaps it will help you to decide what is yours. I love to play poker. This has been my hobby for many years, since I was a teenager. My role model cannot be anyone which isn't related to the poker world. My choice was very clear - Phil Hellmuth. I don't know if you know this wonderful poker player but he is definitely one of the best! The way he climbed to the top, his determination and motivation and his courage to face much more experienced poker players made him so appreciated. There are many sites who reviewed Phil's profile and biography, which I believe you can learn a lot from and understand what you need to become a role model. Here is a link to one of my favorites: http://www.777.com/poker/phil- hellmuth-jr I hope I managed to help you a little bit. David |

How can I create like a It is for a History project, i
need to create Elizabeth I. I
can't figure out how to go
about making her. A mannequin
could suffice, but i don't
know where to buy one. it
doesn't have to be 3
dimensional. I could make it
out of sheet wood or some
other material. I'm just lost
on how to make this. Please
give me some tips on the
construction.

It would be pretty big if you want it life-sized, but I made a small model of a person once. I took wire and bent it into a sort of stick figure person into the position I wanted the model to be. Then I wrapped it in a lot of newspaper to make it actually look like a person. Then, when I had the shape I wanted, I wrapped tape around it and started painting. I hope this helps and good luck! |

Sounds nice, search on eBay Motors and see if you can find something comparable. My initial guess is that if it is a RUNNER that has good tires and is drivable and showable semi-restored condition it is worth close to $10K, and if it is a big parts bucket that is not proven to run without mega effort/lots of TLC needed, it might be worth about $5K at most. on eBay I found several Model A with price in the 5-10K range, the example below being about $8K for a very stock looking one, and about $2K for a rust bucket that was missing hood and radiator parts and rumored that maybe it used to run 3 years ago sort-of. |
