There are several places to look when it comes to downloading free videos. You could try stage6.divx.com, or veohTV; those sites hold pretty good, high-quality videos. For music, try myflashfetish.com. |

You can try downloading Limewire at www.limewire.com. There are lawys against downloading, but companies like the RIAA won't go after you for a couple songs to make a CD. They are mainly after people who download thousands of files. Limewire is a really good program, and the song files are completely virus, adware, spyware, etc. free, but be careful if you are downloading a movie or program, as those can contain viruses and will harm your computer. And Limewire pro is not different than the free version, you just dont get those annoying welcome messages and you have more hosts to download the same file from. |

but when i try to burn them to
a disc, it tells me that the
action is banned due to
copyright laws...isnt there a
sponsored site that lets u do
this legally? im sure there
is, there has to be!

The problem is the TYPE of music files that you are downloading - they are protected music files. You will want to find a source of music that lets you obtain unprotected music files. Just look for music files of type 'mp3' and you'll be able to successfully burn them to disc. As the previous poster mentioned, Limewire is a software that lets you connect to a peer-to-peer network (P2P), allowing you to share and download music. That is one way to get music.
