LDS:s it wrong to ask someone I really feel like my Bishop
is insincere. He never made
the effort to even telephone
me when I was well. When I
first got sick, he never
visited either. Now he has
been here three times in as
many days and rather than
liking his visits, I am
discomforted, like maybe his
presence means that I am not
going to get well. What is your
advice?

Bishops are usually very busy putting out fires. They never call to just shoot the breeze. It is worrisome that you have become a fire... as you already know. Hospitals are not hotels; people stay in hospitals when something serious is going on. Bishops are like doctors. It isn't the Bishop's job to coddle you, but to help find a cure. I'd say you need one. Maybe two. It is revealing that you would turn down someone's attempt at love because you think they are insincere. How can anyone be sincere, if you keep them away? Love is something we practice, not a possession we either have or don't have. |

Is Bishop Eddie Long I heard that there's a company
in Georgia that can help
churches raise money without
having its members spend any
extra money out of pocket. Has
anyone heard about this?

Biship Eddie long has not been to any of our meetings. Do you know him personally? If so, let's talk about raising some passive income for your church. I've heard great things about New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. Or if anyone who does know or goes to Bishop Eddie Long's church, feel free to contact me. I'm actually looking to help some church's in Georgia raise some passive monthly income. View my website at http://www.GeorgiaGasProvider. com and give me a call. |

LDS:I furnished my old bishop I thought it was coffee anyway
but brought in the
prescription. Apparently it
was not recorded and the
present bishop wants a new
copy. Firstly, I am to sick to
travel to see the neurologist
who originally prescribed, he
just automaticaally refills my
needs though. Secondly, the W
of W says strong drinks;
tablets are not reflected so
what do you think? What would
you do? I am concerned .

I'd ask the stake president, something is wrong about you being asked not to drink caffeine. The new guidelines allow people to go to the temple even if they drink decaf coffee because the church decided that while it's a big deal to drink coffee they don't want to limit people from going to the temple. With all due respect to your bishop, if you have a disagreement large enough to warrant a question in yahoo perhaps you should ask him to speak to the Stake President with you about your question. I think that you'll get a different answer. |

I am looking for a book that The other night bishop sheen
read part of a book on the
catholic channel and i did not
catch the name. The book was
about an old devil in hell who
gives his nephew on earth
advice on how to win souls for
the devil, but the plan
backfires and god wins the
souls, does this plot sound
familiar to anyone and can u
tell me the name of the book?

He may have been talking about "The Screwtape Letters" by C. S. Lewis. |
