A score of 1940 on the new SATcorresponds to what score onthe old SAT?
I got my scores for the May 2 testing date and received a score of 1230/1940. Is my verbal/math score indicative of how I would have scored on the old test? I've been told that the new score can be converted to the old scale by dividing by 1.5. This methodology gives me a 1290 as opposed to a 1230. Which score should I be using to see if I am qualified for colleges that I'd like to attend?
Just subtract your writing score from the total one you got. That means add your critical reading and math together, and it will be no higher than 1600 (which is the old score.) The old SAT didn't have writing. Doing the "dividing" thing will skew the results.
How can I find out if someonedrowned in the bathtub in anapartment in San Diego1940-1986?
I would like to find out if someone drowned in an apartment in San Diego between 1940 and 1986. How would I research these records? I would like to know because the apartment we rented had a ghost and a friend said the ghost was a boy who drowned in the bathtub and the apartments were built in 1940 and we lived there in 1986 so it had to have happened between those times.
Why would u want to know that? Is your bathtube haunted? Weird. Maybe there is some sort of public records that you can look into at the court house or something.

What were the Japanese laws,in the 1940's, and how arethey different from thejapanese laws today?
All i basically need is a list of the laws that the japanese had in the 1940's but if you could add why they had them, and what was the punishment if you disobeyed them- that would be great to.
The Civil Code of Japan (民法 Minpō, 1896) was created in 1896. It was heavily influenced by the first draft of the German Civil Code and the French Civil Code and emphasized law and order over individual freedom. It remained substantially unchanged even after the American occupation in 1945 except for the fifth (family law) and sixth sections (inheritance law) which was fully revised during the occupation. In addition however, the 1946 Constitution of Japan, the 1948 Code of Criminal Procedure and the 1996 Code of Civil Procedure are all now part of the basic legal framework of Japanese justice.
