What was the fate of Jagat In the Battle of Plashey on
23rd June,1757, on the bank of
Vagirathi river near
Murshidabad, between force led
by Nawab Siraj-ud-Dowla and
british force led by Lord
Cllive. 50000 man force aginst
5000 man force. Victory by
Nawab was a question of time
only. But army commander Mir
Muhammad Zafar Ali Khanm,
having a secretly agreed pact
with Lord Clive, didnot follow
Nawab's order to strike.
Instead, he stood and watched
and made around 45000 infantry
and cavalry person to stand
inert. So Nawab conceded
inevitable defeat and fled
from war-ground. So Bengal,
Orissa, Bihar came and
eventually whole Indian
Subcontinent came under
British rule for next 200
years. We know the
collaborators that acted
against the interest of their
own country were Mahtab Chand
(Banker), Yaar Latif (Army
Commander), Umi
Chand(treasury), Mir
Zafar(Army commander).
What were their rewards? How
happily they passed their rest
of lives?

trac phone number trying to locate numbers
dialed from this cell phone

It's a cell phone from Philadelphia...Southwestern Bell Mobile is the provider. If it is your phone, you can establish an online account and check your account there. If it is not your phone, I'd suggest you give up the quest and start trusting whoever's phone it is. |

How to solve this math I cut a roll of red tape into
251 pieces, and then I cut
each of the 251 pieces into 8
smaller pieces. At most how
many cuts did I need to make
to produce the resulting 2008
pieces?
I got 1757, but that was
wrong. Any help is appreciated
:)
Thanks in advance!!

I think it's the sum of the initial 251 cuts plus 8 cuts for every one of your 251 pieces 251+8*251=251+2008=2259 Not sure, though... |

Was the battle of Palashi at Our history was wrongly
written.Siraj became king at
very early age by that time he
was completely spoiled due to
pampering of his grandfather
Alibardi.
Whenever siraj saw a beautiful
woman,he forcefully brought
her into his harem and
captivated her
lifelong[thousands in no.].
Siraj"s men attack ferry boats
across ganges and drown the
passengers.From the roof of
the palace ,he used to enjoy
the scene.
His torture on hindus was
beyond toleration.
Nobody could make wealth from
his fear .
He used to insult respected
persons recklessly.He slapped
Juggatseth[famous banker and
businessman] in his durbar in
front of all.
He killed Kuli Khan ,a
relative of Ghasseti begum .
No person including both
hindus and muslims could live
a peaceful life in his regime.
Even the Darbesh who helped
Mirjafar to captivate siraj
was a victim of siraj's
torture.Siraj cut his nose and
ear previously.
So all the eminent
personalities stood against
his.He was described as a good
person nowhere in history

The battle was between Siraj Ud Daulah, the last independent Nawab of Bengal, and the forces of the British East India Company. Siraj-ud-Daulah's army commander had defected to the British, causing his army to collapse. After this defeat, the entire province of Bengal passed to the Company, and this battle is today seen as one of the pivotal battles leading to British Empire in India. |
