How come the medical society Just look at the christian
posts in here - It sure seems
they are ready to be committed
to a mental hospital. But what
is more disturbing is the
level of agressiveness they
portray.
I just wonder why it is the
medical sciences aren't
alarmed by the christian
behaviour?

Did you know that the first hospitals were established by the Church, centuries ago? And did you know that the Catholic Church is the largest PRIVATE health care provider in the U.S. ? WHy would they be afraid? Whatever fills up psych wards is a financially GOOD thing for any hospital. |

The Christians in here are generally giving calm answers that are meant to inspire peace and maybe curiousity. If you have an answerer here that is aggressive and hateful and intolerant of other people's viewpoints, that is not a Christian, no matter how much he says he is: he might be a fundamentalist, but he isn't a Christian. |

Medical Sciences is different from Religion. Behavior is based on the individual beliefs and values. People behave based on what they believe is right and the right and wrong are dictated by society, and society is made up of values, culture, religion, folklore and mores. |

Most physicians are religious, so I am sure they are not alarmed at all. They probably embrace the behavior of Christians and admire it. YOU have the opinion that Christians are "ready to be committed to a mental hospital." That shows prejudice and a lack of tolerance for those with different beliefs. You are a bigot. And for what reason would the medical community be alarmed by normal behavior? Medical is to help the sick... there are numerous medical facilities, universities,research facilities and health centers that are Christian based that have been providing medical help for a couple hundred years in this country... there are many in your area that would be able to help you with your delusions of fear.... |
