What kind of entertainment is Hey there.
My parents just booked a trip
to Alaska on the Holland
America Cruise Line, and I'm
just wondering if that's a
good cruise.
And if there's any fun
entertainment for teenagers.
I'm seventeen, I heard that
ship has more older people but
do they at least have
something for the kids to do?
If so, what is it?
And is it fun cruising? Never
done it before so I'm kind of
excited! :)

Heyy i'm 17 too. I have been on a lot of other cruise lines before but never this one. They also have shows which you might like. But your right this cruise line looks like it's more for the older crowd. I think there will still be a few people your age. It's a ton of fun cruising!! Especially when you get off the ship. I recommend booking an excursion at every destination. Even when your on the ship just sailing there is still tons of stuff to do. There is all sorts of entertainment on HAL ships, ranging from musicians to magicians and comics on stage in the evenings. There is often a passenger talent show that is fun, and on some ships the regular non-entertainment crew put on a show that is great. There are also movies, dancing, and live music in lots of the lounges. For teens, there is Club HAL, which is a great place to meet other people and make friends to hang out at the pool with, meet for lunch, etc. You will have a great trip, and are certainly justified in being excited! |

Holland American is a luxury cruise line - You will not be disappointed - There are a lot of passengers of middle and older ages but almost always you will find younger. Lots of things to do however you will mostly be offt the ship exploring great Alaskan places - Have fun - |
