What is the law in NYS There are many times I'm
behind dump trucks and they
have stones and dirt flying
out of the bed of their trucks
and are NOT covered . Even
when the bed of the truck is
empty they have stuff flying
out . I know in some states
its Mandatory that the trucks
have a netting covering the
bed of their truck whether
full or empty.
Doe NYS have such a law and
were or who do you report it
to ?

yes you need to cover your load i don't think you need to with an empty truck and if stuff comes out they can get a ticket for littering the highway or unsafe load |

probably none as NYC only has laws for career criminals to keep them out of jail |

There is negligence law regarding unsafe loading of trucks, improper loading, improper securing but I don't have access to the case law to give you specific rules. |
