How accurate is half-life dating for determining the age of a sample?
By half-life dating, I mean the use of Carbon-14, Uranium-235, Uranium-238, Potassium-40, and other such isotopes and their half-lifes in dating.
There is always an expiration date, even on samples. Check your samples. Only accurate until the date of expiration.
I think it's the only trusted and used method to determine the age of many material, cuase all fossiles, bones and whatever might be get out of living body, should definetly contain carbon. so carbon is most important method
