Credit Card Application?
I recieved a credit card
application from 1st Financial
Bank USA from South Dakota.
It's a Student card.
1. Can i apply for the card
even though i am not a college
student until this fall. I am
18 and still in high school?
The interest rates maybe high
on this card but i would like
to use this as an emergency
credit card, because of the
fact that there is a 0% APR on
balances up to $250
2. What do you think of the
card and this bank?
Yeah i know about the debt i
will be in after school,
especially since i am going to
a private University. But
thanks to Scholarships and
Grants it is going to be
cheaper than a Community
College, plus the University
is closer to home than the
community college. I'll still
have to take some loan money
though.

You should be able too if you've been acceptated at a school already and you are 18. I think that student cards are a bad idea. If your like most your going to be in debt from student loans soon enough, don't add to it unless absolutly neccasary and DON'T choose the first offer. You'll have bunch come in soon enough. One emergency cards is not a big deal, just make sure it's just that. |

as long as u are 18 and have an income u can apply. i wouldnt apply for that one because it probably has hidden charges. if u want a credit card u want a big name credit card like chase or discover because they give u rewards on everything u spend |

I personally would not do it. when applying for a credit card go to your local bank and apply for one, also get a cc without annual fees. Serious think about getting involved with cc, |
