In the name "Rudolph Virchow" I'm doing a report on him, and
I want to make sure I'm
spelling his name right.
In the text book, his name is
spelled "Rudolph". But on many
websites and awards and what
not, his name is spelled
"Rodolf."
He's German, if that helps.

I'd spell it like the text book says it's spelled. Rudolph seems like a weird way to spell it but Google picks up on it as Rudolf so it must be right as well. Also, other websites might be picking up on the mistakes of Wikipedia. It seems that wiki spells it like the text book does and on the main page spells it like Rudolf. Like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R udolph_Virchow_Award http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R udolf_Virchow I'd say Rudolph :) |
