how hard is it to put a chev I've swapped one engine
before, and now i am buying a
1990 surburban and taking the
engine out, and installing it
into a 1969 toyota land
cruiser. does anyone have any
sugestions... besides quit
while you still have money in
your pocket.

I did this on a 84 XJ6 (Jag) it can be done check with some of the off road guys ,also they make a mock-up V8 engine (foam) if the GM-trans. will be used try a trans. mount off 1969 Z-28 or any (A) body car from the 1970's.ask around for some help from the local hot rod guys or 4x4 shop ,off road shop. I hope this a old Toyota, and don't forget the cat's the EPA -MVA may get ya. ask first!! But dam did that Jag run!! Good Luck P.S. NAPA WILL HAVE THE PARTS |
