Questions/Answers
Are Toyota Land Cruisers hand made?
My Toyota dealer indicated Land Cruisers were hand made to explain their long reputation for being reliable and "bulletproof".
I highly doubt it! Mine was not bulletproof by a long shot, but I sure wish I had it now!
Land Cruisers are not hand made, unless your dealer is referring to the countless "hands" touching the vehicle as it rolls down the assembly line. It is, however, a very well built vehicle and what I would consider "bulletproof" by standard.
No. It is a very strong car though. I had a 2002 that I took off road a couple of times. It was good but it wasn't worth the price. I sold it and my wifes tahoe about 5 months ago and bought 2 range rovers. Black for me and white for her. It also is good off road. It gets through faster than the cruiser. It is also more luxurious.
yes... by the hands of many happily employed union robots in Japan!
hold on, the "dealer" told you this? im guessing it was a salesman. the older ones require alot of "hands on" for modifications but this doesnt mean "hand made". i checked out the new FJ and it seemed like a great truck. it might have a few parts that are hand made or have a real person check for quality or fit. there is no way a real person bolts and welds everything together on that vehicle though.
No, they are not hand made. Your dealer probably meant "bulletproof reliabuility."
i think they sre made in japan
NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOO BUT THOSE CARS ARE REALLY GOOD
