What book bag should I have I'm going to be a freshman
this year in high school and
I'm thinking of getting a new
book bag. I might get a vera
bradley messenger bag... but
I'm not sure yet. Any
suggestions for book bags
would be helpful. Thanks

I just buy a jansport and get it over with (not much of a shopper). They are really supportive, and if you don't want the clean polished look I draw on it :). LOL well anyways I hope you pick one you really like! :) |

How about a bag that will support several text books and papers. One you're not afraid if it gets dirty or gets ink on it. |

I would use a tote bag..such as one from hollister or abercrombie. You could also get a vera bradley. That's what i would use. Hope i helped=) |

at my school everyone used to carry vera bradleys but now they are ugly and going out of style. now all the girls go to hollister or abercrombie and fitch and get a big messenger bag. they will never go out of style and they arnt near as expensive as a vera bradley. i have like 5,, one for every year. |

Vera bradley definitley is a a good choice. I would recommend one that you put around both shoulders and wear it like a backpack. I used one of that over the shoulder bag from Vera Bradley my freshmen year and it was fine, however can cause back problems (scoliosis, etc.) considering thw weight you carry which it was I got. well i did try those totes and messenger bags but they are very uncomfy and yikes..they hurt but just try a cute backpack billabong? jansport? |

i love vera bradleys, but too many people have messenger bags so get a tote or the actual backpack. i have a tic tac tote, and it works really well for holding all my stuff. also, llbean backpacks are really durable |

i don't like vera bradley at all. just saying . but get something u KNOW no one else has. u would just be copying. i like messenger bags or tote bags. try a vintage store to find a one of a king one or something. |

Get whatever will hold all your stuff and makes it easiest to carry so you don't end up with a sore back. But I could be wrong as far as fashion goes because I am 32 and graduated in the 90s. lol |

OMG! No messenger bags! Nerds get messenger bags! A big purse is the style 4 bookbags 4 girls... U can usually fit all of ur work in it. But, always carry 1 text book in ur hand so u dont look overwhelmed on 1 shoulder... Look 4 a leather purse... those hold up the best... But, make sure it doesnt look like a grannys! Goodluck =] |

Go for a tote. That's what EVERY girl at my high school carries. Just make sure you customize it somehow -- and don't get one from Hollister/Abercrombie :] |
